Hip Hip Parade (1978)
Hip Hip Parade! is a TV special that aired on PBS on November 21, 1978.
Kermit the Frog (in his reporter guise) and Fozzie Bear host the special, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is put together, as well as touring through the various floats and balloons of the year (including the Sesame Street float and Kermit the Frog balloon.)
During the occasional spaces where Kermit wasn't narrating, Fozzie occasionally pops in to look for his big Fozzie Bear balloon to accompany Kermit's. As the special wraps up, Kermit informs him he may have to wait years for his own balloon, but following the credits, Kermit hands Fozzie a small balloon with Fozzie's face doodled on — "It's a start," he replies.
