"Holiday Lights" is a Sesame Street song that opens the 2016 special Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas.
The song is performed by the entire cast as they prepare for the holiday season. The song also takes a glimpse into the homes of street residents and their individual celebrations, including Baby Bear and his family celebrating Chanukah, some Anything Muppets celebrating Christmas, and a monster family celebrating Kwanzaa.
The song and the footage from the special was repurposed to appear in Episode 5106 with a number of changes. Big Bird's vocals, originally done by Caroll Spinney, were redubbed by Matt Vogel, as were much of the other vocals of the song. The scene of Baby Bear and his family was replaced by a newly shot scene of another Anything Muppet family.
