The first Walt Disney World attraction to feature the Muppets was the Hollywood's Pretty Woman stage show at the Theater of the Stars on Hollywood Boulevard, in Disney-MGM Studios.
According to one description: "The show features Roger Rabbit as a world famous producer from Maroon Studios visiting Club Hollywood. Proprietor Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy, are trying to impress Roger with their salute to the woman of Hollywood lore. Featured are tributes to Jeanette MacDonald, Judy Garland, Ginger Rogers, Carmen Miranda and Madonna. The show builds to a grand surprise ending."
The show included Kermit and Miss Piggy walk-arounds in the surprise finale.
According to the Disney A to Z encyclopedia, the show premiered September 24, 1991, ending shortly after, on November 3.[1] Other sources say the show debuted December 12, 1989,[2] which would mean the show was the only Muppets-themed Walt Disney World attraction finished in Jim Henson's lifetime.
