Homeland is a dramatic television series, broadcast from 2011 to 2020 on Showtime. The show initially centered on US Marine Nicholas Brody, who returns home after being held as a prisoner of war, and CIA agent Carrie Mathison, who suspects that the Marine may be secretly working for al-Qaeda, while later seasons followed Carrie's assignments in other areas.
