Honoré Daumier (1808-1879) was a French artist who produced over 500 paintings, 4000 lithographs, 1000 wood engravings, 1000 drawings, and 100 sculptures during his career. His work was know for offering commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century.

- Daumier's Les Spectateurs de l'orchestre plays the part of the audience for Baby Fozzie in the Muppet Babies episode "The Muppet Museum of Art". The piece is altered in one frame to provide a shocked reaction to one of Fozzie's jokes.
