Horton the Elephant was a recurring character on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. In each of his book appearances, Horton endures a good amount of ridicule for believing in something that no one else does. He also received criticism from characters in the show. He is often seen in the company of his son, Morton the Elephant Bird.
In the first season, he is seen fulfilling many different jobs depending on the story, such as Lake Mulloon bellhop, animal expert, and pilot for Lighter Than Airlines.
