Hot Wheels is the brand name for a line of die-cast model toy cars introduced by Mattel in 1968. The toys over the decades have included replicas of full scale automobiles, as well as tie-ins with various pop culture franchises.
Several lines of Muppet cars have been released over the years.

- A 1969 Hot Wheels coloring book (from Whitman) appears on the Hooper's Store newsstand in several 1970s Sesame Street episodes, including Episode 0627. The prop (or one like it) could also be seen in other situations, such as a kid looking through the book on the steps of 123 Sesame Street in Episode 0468 during scene 4.
