Howard Johnson (1941-2021) was a jazz musician, known for playing the tuba and baritone saxophone.
When James Taylor sang "That Grouchy Face" (reworking his own "Your Smiling Face) on Sesame Street, Johnson played the tin whistle.[1] He played tuba during Taylor's "Jellyman Kelly". (YouTube)
