Hu Hu Zhu (呼呼猪) is a furry blue pig from Zhima Jie, the Chinese co-production of Sesame Street. His name means "Whirring Pig".

Hu Hu Zhu meets his Sesame friends Elmo and Big Bird in the 2008 planetarium show One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure; his first appearance since the cancellation of the original production of Zhima Jie. In the U.S. version of the show, Hu Hu Zhu (as performed by Tyler Bunch) visits America; in the Chinese version, Elmo and Big Bird visit Hu Hu Zhu in China. They learn about space together, traveling on an imaginary trip to the Moon.

Sesame Workshop description

Hu Hu Zhu is an ageless, furry, blue pig with many siblings and relatives who are all the same unique color. Hu Hu Zhu admires his blue fur and tail and takes meticulous care of both. He loves the arts -- especially opera -- and enjoys singing despite his untrained voice. He has portraits of his ancestors hanging in his living room; including renowned philosophers, artists, and poets. He is also the proud owner of a world-class collection of furry blue objects d’art. His greatest joy is helping others, but he doesn’t always know when to stop. He often runs around huffing and puffing in an effort to find someone to help. He pretends to be brave for the sake of helping others, but is actually afraid at heart.
