Hudson Yards is a real estate development in Manhattan, New York City that has been under construction since 2012.
On March 15, 2019, Big Bird attended the grand opening ceremony of Hudson Yards. The ceremony took place in front of Vessel, a climbable, public art structure which also opened that day as part of Hudson Yards. Anderson Cooper served as master of ceremonies.
Others in attendance included Senator Chuck Schumer, Representative Jerry Nadler, and singer Andra Day.
