Humongous is the mechanical guard to the Goblin City in Labyrinth. He stands 15 feet tall, and carries an axe. He was operated by one of the goblins, prior to his destruction by Hoggle. Humongous has only one line of dialogue in the film, which he repeats over and over: "Who goes?"
Although the creature was not named in the film, in the documentary Inside the Labyrinth and the production notes, Jim Henson calls it "Humongous." He also says that the creature weighs "a lot."
Humongous was operated by a single performer, and is the largest puppet the Creature Shop had built up to that time.
