Hus Levant, also credited as Hus Levent, was a puppeteer and actor who worked on The Dark Crystal as the Mystic Scribe. He also played the Garthim that smashed through the wall into the Podling gathering.[1]
Levant acted in Shakespeare productions by the National Theater, including the 1986-1987 production of King Lear with Anthony Hopkins. He appeared in BBC productions of Henry VI parts one, two, and three and Richard III. Outside of Shakespeare, he played miner Edwin Green in the Doctor Who story "The Mark of the Rani."
