"I'm Your Friend" is a Sesame Street song about friendship. The song plays over film of kids playing, dancing, and having fun on a playground.
The lyrics in the first verse are about how a person will be your friend and make you feel better "when you're down and wearing a frown." The second verse asks what good hiding, secrets, and fun in general are when you don't have a friend to share and play with.
