"I Come for to Sing" is a folk song co-written and recorded by Bob Gibson.
The tune was notably used in the final episode of Sam and Friends, aired on December 15, 1961. Prompted by Harry the Hipster, Kermit lip-syncs to Gibson's recording as a way of saying goodbye to the loyal viewing audience (before Harry begins to blow up all the sets). The recording had previously been used on the show in the February 26, 1960 broadcast.
