"I Could Have Danced All Night" is a song from the musical My Fair Lady, in which Eliza expresses her elation.
In The Muppets episode "The Ex-Factor," Kristin Chenoweth and Miss Piggy perform the song on Up Late with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem playing back-up.
A music box version of the tune is used in Episode 2297 of Sesame Street as a substitute for the Count's thunder and lightning. The song was later spoofed on Sesame Street with "I Could Have Counted All Night," a song performed by the Count, the Countess, and her mother extolling the euphoric joys of enumeration.
