2000 remake

"I Just Adore Four" is a Sesame Street song about the number four, sung by Big Bird with backup from the Happy Squares.

Big Bird hosted "The Number Four Show" in Episode 0734, and sang "I Just Adore Four" as the splashy opening number. An alternate version of the song, without the "Number Four Show" audience present, was taped in the same session and aired as an insert in various episodes (starting with Episode 0792).

This song was also sung in the Sesame Street Live show Sesame Jamboree. A brief clip from this song appeared in Sesame Street: 20 and Still Counting.

Big Bird performed a new version of the song in 2000, backed by the Oinker Sisters. (First: Episode 3912)

Notes

• In the original lyrics for the song, Big Bird describes the number 4 being "heady as wine," which was then changed to "the number sublime."
