I Love New York (or I ♥ NY) is the name of an advertising campaign to promote tourism in New York state and New York City since the 1970s. The logo, designed by Milton Glaser, has appeared most prominently on bumper stickers and T-shirts, while the song of the same name has featured in many commercials and the eighth Friday the 13th movie.
In the mid-1980s, Kermit the Frog appeared in a commercial with Kitty Carlisle to promote the arts.
