As we hear rain softly falling in the background, Bob sings about how much he loves the rain. He loves the sound it makes, and the fact that it makes the flowers grow. Then Oscar sings about how much he loves the rain, too, only he likes it because of all the mud and puddles, and how it makes people slip and fall down. In spite of their different points of view, Bob and Oscar finish the song, and Oscar is disappointed to realize that he and Bob agree about something.
