I Love the '70s is a TV mini-series focused on comedic nostalgia commentary and was the second installment of the I Love the... series produced by VH1 (following the success of their I Love the '80s series). The series, loosely based on a BBC series of the same name, first aired in August 2003 and consists of ten hour-long episodes, one dedicated to each year. A sequel, I Love the '70s: Volume 2, aired in 2006.
Kermit the Frog appeared as one of many celebrity commentators throughout the 10 episodes, and Sesame Street (1970), The Muppet Show (1976) and The Muppet Movie (1979) were featured topics.
Every episode also features Kermit doing a parody of the "brought to you by" segments of Sesame Street by saying "I Love the '70s is brought to you by the letter V, the letter H, and the number 1."
