Following the debut of the Sesame Street cast in the Ice Follies shows in 1974, several inserts for the series were taped using the skaters and the costumed versions of the characters. The regular Muppet performers provided the character's voices.
These sketches first appeared on the show during seasons six, seven, and eight.
