Icky Gunk was a snake-like character from Sam and Friends. He made his debut appearance on the show on August 4, 1959, lip-syncing to the track "S-S-S'Wonderful" by the Kirby Stone Four.[1]
Icky appears in at least two bits of surviving footage from the series - wearing a blond, curly wig and appearing in the chorus of "I've Got You Under My Skin," and an Esskay Meats advertisement playing a spy with Professor Madcliffe.
