Ida Nomer, who is from Kansas, appears on The Crying Game, a Sesame Street game show. When introduced by Sonny Friendly, she tells him to call her Miss Nomer (a play on the word "misnomer"). He tells her a story about what would happen if she were feeding her chickens and they suddenly ran away to join a circus. The story has quite an effect on Ida -- she wails "I loved those chickens!" and begins bawling like a baby.
