"If You're Happy and You Know It" is a popular children's song. It can be, and frequently is, altered to suit the audience or occasion on which it is sung. The most commonly used first verse is "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!" It has been used on Sesame Street many times, where it was first sung in the first test pilot episode by Susan and the Kids, with verses for additional emotions.
Cast member Bob McGrath has included the song on at least one non-Sesame album, If You're Happy and You Know It: Sing Along with Bob.
The song is included in the "Camp Song Medley" in the 1996 Sesame Street Live show 1-2-3 Imagine!
The song is also featured in a Disney Junior Music Nursery Rhymes video starring Baby Kermit and Baby Animal.
