Imagine... Big Bird Meets Santa Claus is a 1993 Sesame Street storybook. While decorating a tree on Sesame Street, Big Bird imagines meeting Santa Claus at the North Pole. Santa shows him his workshop, and Big Bird enjoys the tour: "Santa Claus sure is a jolly old fellow."
Big Bird gets to help out, including by test driving roller skates. Santa has his own gym, where contrary to appearances, he exercises to keep limber to get down the chimney, and in the meantime Big Bird practices being "Santa Bird." When Big Bird starts to get homesick, Santa Claus takes him back to Sesame Street in his sleigh. He arrives just where the story began, in time for the star to go on the Christmas tree.
