Imagine That! is a 1996 Sesame Street video that encourages indoor play on rainy days.

Telly and Zoe take refuge from the rain in Finders Keepers and while away the rainy day using their imagination. While they wait for the rain to stop, they make toys and costumes out of recycled materials. They also try to help The Amazing Mumford perfect a magic spell that will transport him to the beach.

FRAME 1 At the park, Telly Monster and Zoe are about to watch Gabi fly her kite. Telly worries that it's going to rain, and just as Zoe comments on the beautiful weather, it suddenly turns into a violent storm, and they seek shelter in Finders Keepers. Oscar the Grouch, at his newsstand, shoos away bystanders trying to take cover from the rain.

FRAME 1 cont'd Inside Finders Keepers, Gabi finds a note from Ruthie saying she'll be back in one hour. The kids (now including Lexine and Michael) sadly stare outside and sing "We Hate the Rain." They're joined by Stinky the Stinkweed and two flowers, who love the rain, and Oscar, who's caught between the two extremes. Stinky is reminded of a certain cat.

FRAME 2 The kids mope about, wishing that something interesting would happen, when The Amazing Mumford (in beachwear) poofs in. He explains that he intended to transport himself to the seashore with a rhyming spell, but because he needed a rhyme for "jeepers creepers," he came to Finders Keepers. Telly tells Mumford that he should think of a rhyme for a beach-related word. Zoe suggests "tree" as a rhyme for "sea." Mumford incorporates the words in his new spell and poofs away. The kids compliment Zoe's rhyming skills, unaware that Mumford is now under a damp tree in the rain.

FRAME 3 Gabi points out that they can make toys using items from Ruthie's recycling bin. She pretends an old juice box is a superhero, while Telly turns it into a prowling, growling "tyrannosaurus boxus."

FRAME 4 The kids are busy making new things out of recyclables when Mumford returns, having overheard Zoe say that she's making a house with flowers all over it. Mumford tries to grant her wish, this time using his normal magic words, but he instead poofs up a mouse covered in flowers. Zoe decides to make a house for her new mouse.

FRAME 6 The kids play pretend with some old clothes and sing "Let's Get Dressed Up." Mumford shows up again, having finally gotten rid of the bee. He rewards Gabi for helping him by granting her wish: a pair of dancing shoes. Mumford makes some sentient tap-dancing shoes appear, which isn't what Gabi had in mind.

FRAME 7 / Animation Mumford is still struggling to find the right rhyme for "sea," so Telly suggests "mon-key." Mumford gives it a try, and a book appears in his place. The kids hesitate to open the book when they hear jungle sounds emanating from it. The book opens on its own to reveal that Mumford (heard in voice-over) has turned into a monkey and is stuck inside a jungle (incorporating animation from the "Monkey's T-shirt" insert (First: Episode 2873)). The kids identify the pictured animals until they finally find Mumford. Back to normal in Finders Keepers, Mumford admits he's developed a hankering for bananas.

FRAME 8 The kids throw out more rhymes for "sea" until Telly and Zoe propose just asking nicely. Mumford thinks it's crazy enough to work, so he asks to "please" go to the beach and poofs out. The others realize the trick worked when they see the sunglasses Mumford left behind poof away as well, and then they all cheer.

FRAME 9 Telly, Zoe, and the kids reflect on their day in the song "Rainy Day Wishes." Carlo comes by and lets them know the rain has stopped. Telly notes that they were having so much fun, they didn't notice. Everyone goes back outside to play in the park, and the song is reprised under the credits.
