"In My Neighborhood" is an upbeat song performed on Sesame Street, explaining many of the people who work at various jobs, such as the policeman, grocer, and baker.
The televised version of the song was performed by the Anything Muppets, led by a little girl (Kathryn Mullen) with her backup singers traveling through her neighborhood and pointing out her neighbors.
It was later covered by Bob with Big Bird, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Prairie Dawn and The Count for the People in Your Neighborhood album.

- The televised version uses the same set as "One Potato," and features some of the same Anything Muppets. Zelda also makes an appearance as a doctor.
- This song was dubbed in Dutch and given the title "Bij ons in de buurt".
