Inside Fraggle Rock is a 1993 Fraggle Rock book-and-tape set, released as a "Jim Henson's Story Album." The tape features a new story interspersed with six songs from the show, including the theme song.
Gobo and Mokey receive a tape recorder from Uncle Traveling Matt, and they learn to use it so they can document life in Fraggle Rock for the Silly Creatures. The accompanying book is presented as a scrapbook prepared by Mokey and includes lyrics for each song featured on the tape.
Jerry Nelson, Kathryn Mullen, Dave Goelz, and Steve Whitmire reprise their characters for the story, with Goelz performing both Philo and Gunge during dialogue. Richard Hunt, Karen Prell, and Cheryl Wagner are heard in archive audio. The notable absence of Red is explained as her being in the middle of a splashing contest.
