Ishu Patel (b. 1942) is an award-winning animation film director/producer and educator. Over a period of twenty-five years at the National Film Board of Canada, he developed animation techniques and styles to support his themes and vision.
In the early 1980s, he created several 15-second sand animal animation shorts, as well as storybook number animation shorts, for Sesame Street. Some of the shorts also appeared on Sesame Park.
