"It's Funny" is a song about laughter performed by a guitarist (Jerry Nelson) joined by other laughing Anything Muppets (Nelson, Jim Henson, Frank Oz, and Richard Hunt). At the song's end, he asks the hysterically laughing crowd why they're laughing and is told he "had to be there".
In a Season 26 insert, the song was performed by Polly Darton and her band at a country music hall, with audience members including Humphrey, Ingrid, Herry Monster, Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Rosita, Biff, Betty Lou, Baby Bear, Hoots, Slimey, Snuffy, Joey and Davey Monkey, a mouse, and three Anything Muppets who all laugh in participation with the song.
