"It's Your Birthday" is a Sesame Street song written for the album Getting Ready for School.
At the start of the track, Oscar the Grouch is bothered by the antics of Big Bird, who is imagining what it is like to have a birthday while going to school. Susan happens by and tells him that schools know every students' birthdays. She proceeds to sing about what kind of celebration there will be. The song concludes with a minor rendition of "Happy Birthday to You."
