"It Makes You Cry" is a song from the Fraggle Rock episode "The River of Life." After struggling to find a way to deal with the contaminated water supply, Boober Fraggle sings a lament about the painful aspects of the world, and the fear of saying "the long goodbye." He briefly thinks of his dream of creatures (including the Gorgs) working together.
An upbeat variation, "We're Part of Each Other," follows shortly thereafter.
The song was also sung in the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock episode "Fraggle Up."
