Ivan the Villager is a male, humanoid muppet who appears in Episode 13 of Statler & Waldorf: From the Balcony. Ivan states that he is a reformed villager & no longer joins lynch mobs of angry villagers who chase after monsters. He appears in a segment with Sweetums, advocating for Hollywood to stop the negative portrayal of monsters while proclaiming that a lot of the harm that monsters do actually have a beneficial side (aka The destruction of cities by large monsters can help real estate prices). He is accidentally injured by Sweetums at the end of the segment.
