Jack Cavari is a guitarist who played on a few 1970s Sesame Street albums, including Sesame Street Fever. He also played on Bob McGrath's 2007 album Bob! from Sesame Street: Christmas Sing Along.
Cavari played on albums with Shirley Bassey, Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Lea Salonga, Barbara Cook, and Aretha Franklin, as well as the cast album for The Great Space Coaster. Film scores include 1984's Beat Street and Chicago.
Cavari has been a frequent Broadway pit musician since the 1970s, playing in the orchestra for the Moliere-based musical Tricks (1973), Seussical, By Jeeves, Lennon, and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever (with Harry Connick, Jr.).
