Jameela Jamil (b. 1986) is a British television presenter who got her start on Channel 4 in 2009 before transitioning into acting.
As host of Channel 4's T4 programming block, she appeared with the Muppets during the 2012 T4 Muppet Takeover. Her primary interaction with the Muppets was in an interview with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy who were appearing to promote the UK release of The Muppets. Kermit flirted with Jamil, prompting an invite from Miss Piggy to leave the set where she administered a karate chop to the host off-camera. Jamil also had a brief correspondence with Fozzie Bear where the two exchanged jokes (Fozzie commended Jamil on her use of his Wocka Wocka catchphrase) and with Animal who accused her of destroying a teddy bear in the green room (before Animal himself coughed up the bear's stuffing).
Jamil's film and television roles include playing Tahani on all four seasons of The Good Place, the feature film How to Build a Girl (with Chris O'Dowd), recurring voice roles on DuckTales, Star Trek: Prodigy, and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, guest voice roles on American Dad! and Harley Quinn, and a main role on the Marvel Studios TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. She appeared as a guest on Last Call with Carson Daly and the NPR quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
