James Catusi as Jim
James Catusi (1939-2009) was an actor who appeared on Sesame Street as Jim, half of the comedy duo Buddy and Jim. During his single season, he also appeared periodically on the street in occupational roles, including Sam the garbage man in multiple episodes (including shows 0037 and 0046) and a balloon vendor man in Episode 0059.
Catusi served as associate producer, along with "Buddy and Jim" partner Brandon Maggart, for the 1970 Broadway revival Hay Fever and played the part of a Swiss Cheese in the 1963 play Mother Courage and Her Children. He recurred on the soap opera The Doctors for one season (1975-1976) as patient Jack Anthony and acted in the occasional film, including Parades (with Russell Horton) and Death Play.
