James Silson is a puppeteer who originated the roles of Howard Snake, Jiffy, and George Rabbit in Goodspeed Opera House's production of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Silson is also the co-director of the Walt Disney World live show, The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History.[1] He previously served as one of the puppeteers for Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic.
Silson has served as puppet master with Disney Live Entertainment, where he acts as choreographer and internal consultant for live puppetry shows. Among the projects he has worked on for Disney are Walt Disney World's musical Finding Nemo (with music from Avenue Q composer Bobby Lopez).
