Jan Delay (b. Jan Phillip Eißfeldt in 1976) is a German rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer, who recorded a song in the German short-form series Ernie & Bert Songs (also used on Sesamstrasse). He performed a special version of his hit song "Klar" with Ernie and Bert.
In June of 2021, the trio appeared together again on the street, recycling Delay's song "Eule" ("Owl") for the show with altered lyrics. On September 22, 2021, they appeared on DAS! to promote the endeavor.
