Janet Knechtel is a puppet maker who has worked on many Muppet and Creature Shop productions. Her puppets include Baby Sinclair, the star of Dinosaurs.
For Jim Henson's Creature Shop, she built the character Flat Eric, star of a series of popular Levi's commercials.
She continues to work as a puppet rigger for Henson and Disney when their characters make appearances in Britain, such as Kermit the Frog's appearance at the 2006 Flora London Marathon.
