"Muppet Masters" title accompanied by Mouret's classical theme
Jean-Joseph Mouret (1682-1738) was a French composer of Baroque music.
The first movement of Mouret's Suite of Symphonies for brass, strings & timpani No. 1, famously known for its use as the theme for Masterpiece Theatre, was spoofed for the theme for "Monsterpiece Theater" on Sesame Street. The original composition served as the theme to the "Muppet Masters" segments on Muppets Now.
