Jean Pierre Napoleon is a French Interpol agent featured in Muppets Most Wanted. Napoleon drives the Interpol licensed car Le Maximum. He is assigned to a series of museum thefts or break-ins, which he suspects are the work of his personal nemesis the Lemur.
Due to shared jurisdiction, however, he ends up paired with CIA agent Sam the Eagle. Sam is surprised by Jean Pierre's frequent breaks (due to the more relaxed European work schedule), and the French agent tries in vain to use romantic charms on Miss Piggy in the "Interrogation Song."
Behind the scenes[]
In the film's presskit, actor Ty Burrell described Jean Pierre Napoleon as "sort of an amalgam of all the French police inspectors that have ever existed... We went back to the '60s films, with Clouseau or Poirot-- it's sort of a mash-up of all of them."
