
Nettles and Miss Piggy
Jennifer Nettles (b. 1974) is a musician best known as one half of the country music duo Sugarland with Kristian Bush. She launched a solo career in 2013.
As part of Sugarland, Nettles guest starred in Season 38 of Sesame Street, singing "Songs" with Elmo. She later was a credited composer for the show in Seasons 49 and 50, co-writing the songs "What Are We Going to Play Today?" and "This Is My Street."
In 2011, Nettles joined Miss Piggy on stage during the CMA Country Christmas TV special.
An occasional actor, Nettles has appeared in the films Harriet (with Cynthia Erivo) and The Exorcist: Believer, as well as on the television series Underground and Puppy Dog Pals. On stage, Nettles appeared in Broadway productions of Chicago and Waitress.
