Jerrod Maruyama is an illustrator who supplied the art for the Sesame Street books Elmo's Favorite Jokes and Riddles, Elmo Pretends... He's a Dinosaur!, and Elmo Pretends... He's a Chicken!.
Additionally, his designs have been featured on, or served as the basis of, several pieces of merchandise, including a Fraggle Rock shirt and Kidrobot's Sesame Street Phunny plush. In 2022, Maruyama created a Muppet print for WonderGround Gallery at Downtown Disney.
Maruyama is particularly known for his work with Disney, illustrating books for the "Disney Baby" and "Growing Up Stories" series, and designing numerous pieces of theme park merchandise. His other clients include Warner Bros. (Looney Tunes and The Big Bang Theory), DreamWorks (Shrek), and Netflix (Stranger Things).
