Jesse Corti is an actor whose most substantial role came in animation, as the voice of the toadying LeFou in the Disney 1991 animated feature Beauty and the Beast. Earlier that year, he could be seen in the video Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse, as a firefighter named Emilio.
Born in Venezuala, Corti moved to the United States of America as a child, and began acting and singing after college, first in a rock group and then in a national tour of Jesus Christ, Superstar, as Judas. He also appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables, in the supporting role of revolutionary Coufeyrac and other ensemble parts. His film credits include High Stakes (with Larry Block), Revenge, In the Kingdom of the Blind, the Man with One Eye is King, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Hulk (with Jennifer Connelly), and Bringing Down the House (with Steve Martin and Queen Latifah).
In television, Corti spent six months on the soap opera Search For Tomorrow (as Julian) and had a recurring role as a detective on Another World. Later credits include The West Wing, Judging Amy, Desperate Housewives, 24, and Heroes. Voice-over credits include Chief Angel Rojas on The Batman, the Metal Gear: Solid video games, commercials for McDonald's, and briefly substituting as the Nestle's Quik rabbit.
