Jessica Carleton

Jessica Honor Carleton (b. 1983) is a writer, actress, puppeteer, puppet designer, storyteller, and make-up artist. She is best known for her work on the MeTV series Green Screen Adventures. Carleton has received four Daytime Emmy Awards, including winning "Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series" for her work on Green Screen Adventures in 2014 (she was nominated against Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Joey Mazzarino and David Rudman; all for their work on Sesame Street).

Carleton presented the award for "Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program" at the 41st Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards alongside Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (with Abby Cadabby) and David Rudman (with Cookie Monster).

Carleton later became a Sesame Street writer, starting with Season 47. She also co-wrote The Magical Wand Chase television special with Ken Scarborough and Raye Lankford. Her other writing credits include episodes of Arthur, Martha Speaks and Puppy Dog Pals.

She has a bachelor's degrees in "Performance and Creative Writing for the Media" from Northwestern University.
