Jim Henson's World of Television is a guide to the Jim Henson Collection at The Paley Center for Media as of December, 1992. At the time of the publication, The Paley Center was known as The Museum of Television and Radio, and from June 5 through October 4 The Museum staged an exhibit highlighting Henson's work in television titled "Jim Henson's World of Television."[1] According to an introduction by Jane Henson, The Museum published the book in response to the positive feedback from attendees of the exhibit and as a guide to the portion of the exhibit that remained in The Museum's permanent collection.
The book contains written descriptions and detailed production credits for video segments in The Museum's collection.
