In July 2010, publishing news blog Galleycat reported that author Brian Jay Jones had sold a biography of [[Jim Henson]] to Ballantine Books. Jones will be working on the as-yet-untitled project with the blessing of the Henson family. Henson

According to the press release, the book will cover Henson's professional career, but does not mention how much of his personal life will be featured.[1] A late 2012 release date is tentatively scheduled.[2]

Jones has previously published a biography of Washington Irving in 2008.
