Entrance into the Jim Henson wing
The Jim Henson Collection (alternatively referred to as "The Jim Henson Gallery")[1][2] is a permanent exhibit found at the Center for Puppetry Arts, which opened on November 15, 2015. The exhibition is part of the center's "Worlds of Puppetry" exhibition, which is split between the Henson collection and "The Global Collection" (showcasing puppetry from all over the world).
The Henson family donated between 500 and 700 pieces to the Center,[3] with materials rotated on display on a semi-regular basis.
The exhibit is divided into multiple sections based on different productions and franchises, along with recreations of Jim Henson's office in the Henson Townhouse and the Muppet Workshop. The area also features a faux-studio where visitors can try their hand at television puppetry.
