Jim Lee (b. 1964) is an award-winning comic book artist and publisher who co-founded Image Comics in the 1990s and became the Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics in 2018.
Lee appears in the 2021 Sesame Street special See Us Coming Together celebrating Asian-American and Pacific Islander cultures.
Throughout his career, Lee has worked as an artist and writer for most of the major comic book publishers. Some of his more celebrated works include Batman: Hush, Superman: For Tomorrow, and The Uncanny X-Men for Marvel Comics. He worked with Stan Lee (no relation) on the Just Imagine series creating a new version of Wonder Woman, the majority of the 1996-1997 run on the Fantastic Four, and co-created the X-Men character Gambit, among others.
