The Jingle Day pageant
Jingle Day Eve is a winter holiday and the focal point of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Mrs. Zabarelli's Holiday Baton." Jingle Day Eve is the shortest day of the year, with the longest and coldest night (which implies that it takes place on the same date as the Winter Solstice). The annual Jingle Day pageant is held, and when the youngest performer tinks the tink, the sun rises, the night is over, and Jingle Day proper begins.
