Joachim Kaps (b. 1952) is a German voice actor heard as Animal on the German dub of The Muppets Mayhem.
Kaps entered dubbing in the 1980s, heard in guest parts on British TV series and then dubbing Max Gail on Barney Miller. The bulk of his voice work has been for animation, as the official German voice of Tigger in the Winnie the Pooh franchise since 2000 and of Squidward on SpongeBob SquarePants since 2015. He dubbed various recurring characters in the Dragon Ball Z series, Pete Puma in later Looney Tunes TV series, Gus in Disney Cinderella videos, and Jake in The Rescuers Down Under. Video games include the Assassin's Creed series and New World.
Kaps has been active on German TV since the 1970s, with regular roles on several children's series, notably starring on Brummkreisel (1982-1990) and has appeared on Tatort and others.
